Edward Pohlert is a cultural psychologist and facilitator who seeks to enlighten people through the narrative of others. As a first-generation immigrant and multiethnic male, Edward utilizes years of lived experiences in Amsterdam, Indonesia, Hawaii, Los Angeles, and San Diego to inspire, educate, and love.
His passion for the flow of the ocean, the breeze of the tradewinds, the fire of the volcano, and the grounding in the soil, enables the life energy pulsing through our bodies to reach their potential.
Within a collectivist familial structure at work and in personal life, Edward serves as a bridge between unfamiliar faces and the development of community.
Edward has lived in an international context and was educated in California. He holds degrees in sociology, social welfare, educational counseling, and cultural psychology. He lives with his life partner, Alma and has two adult sons, Isiah Guillermo and Ismael Eduardo in San Diego County.
